I've trained in tons of different branded gi and this is my favourite so far - it's a great kata gi – I love training in it. Watch out Adidas, Tokaido and Bushido, CORE is coming for you!!!
Good quality materials & stitching, very happy so far. Recommended, fantastic value will buy again.
4th Gi that I have purchased from CORE. I keep coming back because the product is durable and built to last.
I have now purchased two CORE suits - a 9-oz and 12-oz. The best I have ever used or had. Won't use anything else from now on!
Cotton fabric is breathable, transmits moisture away from the body and is absorbent and removes liquid from the skin like a towel. Cotton allows you to remain comfortable as you exercise, keeping moisture from building up between your skin and clothing. Cotton fabric can easily take 20 per cent of its weight in water before it actually feels damp.
Cotton clothing allows for better air circulation, which helps remove and absorb body moisture, drawing heat away from the skin and keeping the body cool and dry.
If you have sensitive skin, 100 per cent cotton’s hypoallergenic properties will ensure that you experience no irritation or itching – wearing cotton is often recommended for those with skin allergies.
Cotton has a high tensile strength, making it strong, durable and less likely to rip or tear. Cotton is the only fibre that becomes stronger when wet (approx 30% stronger).
One hundred per cent of cotton is natural. It comes from seed rather than a factory, which can only be a good thing for you and the environment. As a natural fibre, it has a much smaller ecological footprint than any of its synthetic counterparts, many of which undergo far more processes and are therefore more expensive to produce.
When combined in the right proportions, with slightly more cotton than polyester, the result is a smooth, soft fabric that does not wrinkle, retains its shape after washing, and does not shrink.
As a natural product, cotton is entirely biodegradable, which means that it breaks down when putting into a composting pile or bin. Because of cotton’s biodegradable properties, all-cotton clothing can also be recycled and used in the manufacture of useful materials, such as household insulation.
